Reed Shares Story from RI Mom on College Costs

U.S. Senator Jack Reed discusses a letter he received from a Rhode Island mother who fears college costs could become too high if student loan interest rates double on July 1st. As many as 7.4 million students nationwide, including approximately 43,000 students in Rhode Island will pay nearly $1,000 more if the student loan interest rate doubles from 3.4 to 6.8 percent.
