Senator Reed, a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, helped secured a $61,500 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Community Facilities Grant to help Tiverton purchase three new police cruisers and a new senior bus. Senator Reed joined members of the Town Council and the Tiverton Police Department to view the new vehicles and celebrate the award.
