10/08/2019 —

Senator Reed helped cut the ribbon on two new laboratories at the Center for Adult Education at Salve Regina’s Warwick Campus.  Opened in 2012, the Salve Regina Warwick Campus is a 12,000-square-foot facility containing Salve’s Graduate Studies and Continuing Education program offering instructional space for students and faculty in a location convenient to students in the Greater Providence area.   A senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Reed included an increase of $25 million for adult education in the 2019 appropriations bill to ensure that adults have foundational skills they need to succeed as workers and lifelong learners.
