Senator Reed Voices Opposition to Budget Gimmick in FY2016 NDAA

Senator Reed spoke on the Senate floor to discuss his opposition to the fundamentally flawed FY2016 National Defense Authorization bill. The NDAA as written includes a budgetary gimmick to circumvent the legal Budget Control Act caps and increase funding for the Defense Department while ignoring the need to increase funding for other domestic agencies that contribute to our economic and national security.
