U.S. Senator Jack Reed joins with Serve Rhode Island, volunteers from Schneider Electric, and a special AmeriCorps team from the National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) to assist with Sandy recovery and cleanup of Winnepaug Pond in Westerly. Reed, a member of the Appropriations Committee, has helped direct millions of dollars in emergency federal funding to Rhode Island to help homeowners, business, and communities recover, and rebuild coastal, transportation, and clean water infrastructure.
